Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting

I think the way people network their businesses online is great. It opens up to the future of people looking for jobs. No one is going and looking at newspapers, and people hardly go into the stores and randomly go ask for a job application. The way this world is expanding is the internet if a company is trying to get their word across they do it from social networking. Most of everyone’s target audience is or has a social network page so that’s the way to in a way get you’re point across. When doing this on Facebook though could be a waste of time only because it’s no longer pertaining to an audience that businesses should want to target their product to. A lot of younger people don’t use Facebook it’s usually and older group of people. So using Facebook would really be a waste of time. But a lot of the younger crowds use twitter, instagram, and even blogging. These are the ways to get the attention for the business and expansion business should be on and posting about.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

I am a generation Y or most commonly called Millennia's. My similarities to this costumer generation is I am comfortable with the digital technology we have now. I do have mostly all the social networking sites and I am on them half of my day. A difference I have in this generation is both of my parents are still married to each other so I don't fit in the category. Another similarity is the graduation or education rate I am in the percent of children that graduated from high school. Last similarity is my ethnic group I fall under the Hispanic group and we are one of the biggest ethnic groups of this decade. I really fit well into the Millennia generation I was born to know and learn technology everything I know I have learned through technology, also I have a twitter, Facebook, instagram, etc. that’s is a way I generally know how to communicate with everyone. I graduated from high school so I fall under that category but again the only category I do not fall under with this generation is that it says most parents of this time era are either divorced or are of the single parent group but my mother and father are still together. If it was not for that one thing this statistic of my generation would be on point. Another similarity is my ethnicity it says this day in age the Hispanic culture is the most populated and I am of the Hispanic ethnicity so there is another similarity I have with this ear. So I am what people would call a millennia baby or in other words the generation y.     

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

Sketchers one of the largest shoes company's in the world can also be considered a helping hand. Not to long ago did sketchers come out with a new shoe called Bobs. Bobs is one of the most popular selling item and it works because every time a customer buys bobs sketchers turns and gives a pair to less fortunate children in other countries. On the other hand I believe that sketcher in every way is mimicking the idea that the owner of Toms had in mind. As long as you are doing something to help the world do not really matter what your product is. Sketchers has been very successful in this movement they have been able to give over 40 million shoes away in 25 different countries all over the world. People love to feel like they have helped without actually helping. Sad to say but our society is lazy and so it is easy to go and spend $80.00 dollars on a pair of shoes then actually be active in charity. This is not a bad thing. Sketchers has found a way to help the world without having people really do anything but simply but a pair of shoes, that are stylish and comfortable to wear. It is amazing how they pull people in to help for a great cause.  It's a great way to help the world one shoe at a time.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

In my opinion…the need for video games is going way down now that we have phones that give us all these great games portably why sit and play them. These phone apps are what I would consider to be the stars they can only grow as long as the smart phones don’t in some weird way die out there are really no need for game console’. Like the wii and wii u they were a big hit everybody loved them but the past few years they have been fading slowly these would be consider a question mark in my opinion we don’t know if they will ever be great again or will they just disappear altogether. Now the play station has always been around and it is always vastly growing more and more they came out with a phone, they came out with a hand held, and they still are making the systems it is here and does very well but how long will it do well is the question so I would probably place it under the cash cow category. I feel the same way when it comes to the xbox they are always coming out with new products and everyone seems to love their products when they come out with things but is it good enough to keep progressing or will it fall later in life so this would also go under cash cow.  One thing that I don’t think people even look for any more is computer games which is weird as much as this society uses the computer we don’t really use it for the games so I feel that would go under dog computer gaming is completely done for.  

Week 1 eoc: Great Customer Service

Once Upon A Time...  I had a really good experience with costumer service. It was actually at McDonalds, and it isn't often we hear about good customer service there but the person who served me was great. I pulled up through the drive through getting food for me and my family and the lady at the first window had a horrible attitude so I was kind of annoyed, but then I got to the second window and it was a young man maybe in his teens. He was very sweet and respectable and so after he gave me my food I called the manager and told him how great the service was with that kid.  It is sad to say but it is very hard to find great costumer service in Las Vegas especially at a fast food restaurant they usually want you to get your food and leave, but he was very polite and had a smile on his face like he was happy to be working there. McDonald’s I don’t think is great for their great customer service because they aren’t always on point with what they are doing but they are always very fast when it comes to getting the food ready. I believe that’s why people go there it is rare to find someone who is upbeat and happy to be working there. I mean let me be honest I don’t think I would be happy working there. I am glad I was able to experience this great service and I did call to compliment him on how he treated me there. I do believe he is actually manager of that store and when I do rarely see him working he has a smile on his face and again looks happy to be doing his job.   

Week 1 eoc: My voice

As a fashion professional... I have what some would call a passion for fashion; I create art through my style of clothes. My mission in life is to make people shine through their clothes. I am a very outgoing person who is great in the fashion industry, you have to be willing to make bold risk, and always keep up on the latest fashion. Also I am really good at reading a person reading who they are as a person being able to understand you’re costumer. To me every day is like playing dress up and my outfits or like costumes, depending on my mood is how I will dress that day. The way I dress is the way I explain myself it’s telling my story, and that’s what I feel fashion is it is a way to tell your story or your mood just by a simple shirt or a pair of shoes or even a pair of jeans. Fashion will always be around and I will be a part of that industry. I am great at making people turn heads but also feel comfortable in their bodies. Some would say fashion isn’t an art but little do they know when buying a piece of clothing they are creating art and your body is the canvas. That’s what I am here for I am here to make people want to get dressed and feel beautiful once they step outside.
